Juventus vs Chelsea: Tuchel confirms four key players to miss Champions League tie
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be without four key players against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.
During his press conference on Tuesday, Tuchel revealed that midfielder N'Golo Kante had contracted COVID-19.
Kante has only played two 45-minute games this season due to a groin ailment, against Tottenham and Aston Villa.
The France international was also substituted in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old will now miss both Saturday's Premier League match against Southampton and tomorrow's heavyweight clash with the Italian giants.
Tuchel will also be without Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount, as well as Reece James, who has an ankle injury and will be unable to travel to St Mary's.
Tuchel remarked that he does not know what proportion of his squad is fully vaccinated at the present due to Kante's health.
