Antonio Conte is said to have his heart set on nine Manchester United players around whom he may create a new team.


Following United's 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool, Conte has been linked with the role as manager of the Red Devils.


After suffering their biggest defeat of the season against their fiercest rivals at Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under immense pressure to turn things around soon.



Conte is now unemployed after leading Inter Milan to Serie A glory, and he has been linked with a move to United.


According to early rumors, Conte was concerned about how much power he'd be given if he took over at Old Trafford.
