Bayern star sacks agent for failing to seal Chelsea, Man Utd move

Kingsley Coman is said to have parted company with Pini Zahavi after the super-agent failed to arrange a move from Bayern Munich to Chelsea or Manchester United in the summer.

According to Fussball Transfers, Coman has signed a ‘mandate' with Zahavi for the summer of 2021, with the Frenchman hoping to leave the Bundesliga club (via Sport Witness).

However, Zahavi was only able to 'collect a few indications of interest' from Chelsea and Manchester United, and he was unable to persuade either team to make an official bid. The two had broken up after failing to carry out Coman's demands.

Coman's current contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2023, and the club has no intention of extending it.

According to the report, a sale next summer is the'most likely' scenario, while Spanish newspaper AS claims the German giants are 'desperate' to offload the attacker to avoid a repeat of David Alba's free transfer to Real Madrid in July.
