Borussia Dortmund could do Chelsea huge favour to help Blues beat Newcastle to Eden Hazard

Borussia Dortmund's apparent interest in three of Chelsea's first-team talents could aid Chelsea's pursuit of former player Eden Hazard. It might give the west Londoners an advantage against Newcastle, whose Saudi-backed purchase has sparked speculation that they may want to recruit Hazard as well.

After joining the club from Lille in 2012, he scored 110 goals in 352 appearances. Chelsea won two Premier League crowns, an FA Cup, and a League Cup with the help of the forward. Hazard's superb 2018/19 season, in which he scored 21 goals in 52 appearances, persuaded Real to commit £100 million to bring him to Madrid.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, with a stunning return being proposed. According to Spanish source El Nacional, owner Roman Abramovich believes Hazard can reclaim his standing as one of the top players in the world if he returns to the West Londoners.

Thomas Tuchel, on the other hand, already has a large squad full of international talents. Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Christian Pulisic are among his attacking alternatives, with Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Christian Pulisic capable of supporting Romelu Lukaku up front.
