Goal.com reports in its piece regarding Christensen's standoff that Matthijs de Ligt might be a target for the Blues if one of their starters is injured. He'd be a very expensive choice, given that he's already making a lot of money at Juventus (£280.000, according to Goal), and we'd have to pay a lot of money to get him, and we'd have to pay a lot of money to get him.
