Sir Alex Ferguson comment shows Cristiano Ronaldo issue Antonio Conte will face at Man Utd

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the verge of losing his job at Manchester United, and he needs a miraculous recovery to avoid losing his job before the New Year, especially with a slew of difficult fixtures ahead in the next month, including Atalanta, Manchester City, and Chelsea, after facing Tottenham this weekend.

Antonio Conte is being touted as the most likely replacement to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at United, with Express Sport reporting that the Italian is interested in the job and willing to speak with the Premier League giants.

The former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager is said to be interested in taking over at Old Trafford immediately, despite the fact that he prefers to take over clubs at the end of the season so he has a summer window and a pre-season to acclimate the team to his methods.

Conte is a world-class manager who, given his success with Juventus, Chelsea, and Inter Milan, would be an exciting choice. He won league titles at all three clubs despite Juve finishing seventh in back-to-back seasons, Chelsea finishing 10th, and Inter finishing no higher than fourth in the nine seasons since they last won Serie A.
