'This is why Chelsea will win the Premier League title - but is it time for a change at Norwich?'

Chris Sutton, a former Chelsea striker, believes the Blues' 7-0 demolition of Norwich City demonstrates why they will win the Premier League - but were they helped by a dreadful Canaries side that already looks doomed for relegation?

Mason Mount scored a hat-trick to lead Thomas Tuchel's team to victory at Stamford Bridge, with goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ben Chilwell, and an own goal from Max Aarons completing the rout.

The performance was even more astonishing given the absence of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, who were both injured, and the fact that five of the seven goals were scored by Blues academy graduates.

As a result, the London club will almost certainly finish the weekend on top of the table.

"This is why I believe Chelsea will win the Premier League - their squad is so strong and their academy players are flourishing," Sutton told BT Sport.

"Today's performance was excellent, but last month the performances have not been there. That is a tremendous mentality to have. They have a squad ready to compete at all levels."
