Manchester United's Manager, Erik ten Hag has given a succinct update on the new signing [Casemiro], following their upcoming game on Saturday.
The Red Devil's would be facing Southampton up next in their premier league title race at St Mary's Stadium, tomorrow.
However, Anthony Martial won't participate in Saturday's game against Southampton, according to Manchester United captain Erik ten Hag.
He also implied that Casemiro, a recent addition, would play his first game for the team.
Martial excelled after coming in to replace Anthony Elanga in the second half of their victory over Liverpool on Monday.
However, the 26-year-old Frenchman's season has suffered another blow after he once again tripped in practice.
Better news for Manchester United: Casemiro, who cost £70 million to acquire from Real Madrid, is set to make his Premier League debut.
“Casemiro is fit. He did all of the training sessions. He trained first individually and, the last days, he trained with the team.
“Anthony Martial is not fit. He came out with a problem on his Achilles, [coming] out of the game, so we have to wait.
“I cannot tell a prognosis on how long it takes but we hope he will be available for the next game [Leicester],” Erik ten Hag speaks.
